Due to a 400-pip (3.4%) rise in the AUD/NZD pair over the last two weeks, one of the algorithms trading this pair closed its trades at the stop-loss level, having reached its drawdown limit.
Because of the rapid movement and shallow corrections, the algorithm was unable to close its positions at the take-profit level.
Consequently, we have incurred losses on two portfolios.
The situation is unpleasant but not critical; we are continuing to trade and working to recover the drawdown.
